Job Description:

My client is looking for a highly experienced Installation Manager with a strong background in team management and a track record in installation-related industries. This role is bout overseeing day-to-day operations of the install team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, installation operations, and quality management systems.

Career Path and Development:

This role is designed as a transitional position towards becoming the Operations Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for training the current Installation Manager designate to take over their role. This aspect requires a candidate who not only excels in their current role but also has the vision and capability to grow into a more strategic, operational leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of the installation department, ensuring effective operation and high-quality output.
Allocate tasks and responsibilities to the installation support team, ensuring efficient workflow.
Coordinate with account handlers, project managers, and other department heads for seamless operations.
Address and resolve any issues with installation teams, maintaining high standards of quality.
Monitor and manage stock levels, timesheets, staff rotas, and vehicle maintenance.
Write and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Train and mentor the trainee installation manager and oversee their progress.Essential Skills and Experience:

Demonstrable experience in managing teams, preferably in signage, large format installations, or comparable fields such as double glazing or construction site management.
Leadership training and a thorough knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.
Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
Experience in both manufacturing and installation sectors.
