The Quality Assurance Associate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance within a leading pharmaceutical company. This role is based on the outskirts of York, and is integral to the company's mission of delivering excellence in every product.

Description

Support in the development, maintenance and update of the QMS
Audit: carry out and follow-up of internal and external audits
Initiation and/or assessment of deviations and complaints
Check qualifications and validations
Writing management, quality related and technical reports
Carry out and oversee quality-related tasks including (mock)-recall, return goods/counterfeit product management, follow up of manufacturing activities, stability studies and Product Quality Reviews (PQRs), etc.
Supervise the correct completion of work documents
Keep the qualification/approval status of suppliers up to date
Transfer to sell-able stock of product received from suppliers against respective Certificates of Analysis and approved packaging
Prepare and manage QTA's (e.g. suppliers, distributors, warehouses, etc.)
Attend audits performed by third parties or other Authorities
Assure a Quality oversight of manufacturing, storage and transport activities
Perform work in accordance with regulation and permits
Support in various operational issues in relation to customer service and supply chainProfile

A successful Quality Assurance Associate should have:

Worked in a similar position and have proven experience in a quality position in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance techniques and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills for reporting quality-related issues and solutions.
Good systems knowledge and IT skills.Job Offer

Salary c£33 - £35k per year.
Initial 10 month contract that may have the opportunity to become permanent.
