HR Officer

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with our client, a large employer based in Sheffield as they look to appoint a full time HR Officer into their team.

This newly established role will report directly to the HR Manager and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to become involved in a wide range of HR initiatives. This role requires someone who enjoys the diversity of working across all areas of the business and is willing to support a variety of different departments. The role also comes with the responsibility of supporting a head count of around 150+ employees.

Other key responsibilities include:

Managing day to day Employee relations occurrences
Recruitment and resourcing campaigns for any live vacancies
Studying employee retention rates
Absence and performance management reviews
Ensuring compliance of new starters
Reviewing and revising policies and procedures
Supporting the HR manager on Complex cases

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in dealing with Employee Relations issues as well as broad HR experience in a variety of different areas. It is desirable that applicants will be working towards, or have achieved, their CIPD Level 5. Previous experience in a Local Authority, Public Sector or Healthcare background is also desirable.
