High volume machine and manufacturing company requires a CNC Setter to join their expanding team based in Redditch.
Previous CNC experience is essential to fulfil this role. Within this role you will be offered free car parking and competitive pay rates. Offered on a temporary to permanent basis, this role of CNC Setter is available with immediate start.
Duties and responsibilities of CNC Setter –
* Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling.
* Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
* Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
* Changing own inserts
* Operating/Setting Turning machines
* Working on Fanuc CNC Lathes
* Machine operating
Skills and attributes required by successful candidate for the role on CNC Setter –
* Previous CNC Operating experience
* Previous CNC Setting experience
* High attention to detail
* Able to work to meet production deadlines
* Working as part of a team and individually
Location: Redditch
Hours of work: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm (rotating shifts)
Pay rate: £12-£15 per hour depending on experience
