Contek Recruitment are currently working with a specialist manufacturer, located in Anlanby, Kingston-upon-Hull. They are expanding their team, and are looking for a CAD Draughtsman to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm)
About Our Client: Our client are a leading company in the mezzanine flooring industry, known for our innovative designs and high-quality installations. They are currently seeking a CAD Draughtsman to join their dynamic team and contribute to their continued success.
Job Role & Duties: As a CAD Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of all mezzanine flooring solutions, along with staircases and balustrades. You will work closely with the design and engineering teams to produce accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel. Your expertise will help ensure that their projects meet both client specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models for mezzanine flooring projects using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient designs.
* Interpret technical specifications and translate them into practical designs.
* Review and modify designs based on feedback from clients and project teams.
* Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of all designs and revisions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CAD Draughtsman, ideally within the mezzanine flooring or steel fabrication industry.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD or Advanced Steel is required.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
