Principal People are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a successful, multi-award-winning insurance firm, who are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant.
The role is part of a smaller, specialist risk division within a multi-billion insurance company that advises a variety of firms with a more in-depth and personalised approach to their service.
In this newly created Health and Safety Consultant role you will initially support two new clients on site in the South East region – Three days on the client’s site and two days from home. The two initial sites are in Essex and Norwich.
Health and Safety Consultant – Up to £45,000 + Benefits
The Successful Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for:
Finding solutions to support clients in effectively managing their risk and improving their health and safety.
Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
Producing policies and accurate reports.
Deliver on-site training.
Build and maintain strong working relationships and high levels of service. Why this is a great opportunity:

You operate in a genuine partnership with your clients and get to feel a part of their business too! The ideal candidate will possess:
A demonstrable record in a client-facing health and safety position. A previous insurance background is advantageous, but not essential.
A UK driving license.
NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum – Diploma level qualification advantageous.
Excellent people skills. In return, the successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £40,000 – £45,000 p.a. plus including a 5% employer matched pension, group income protection, critical illness cover, death in service and company bonus scheme. Travel to sites will also be expensed.
