You're role will be responsible for:
* Complying with Health and Safety regulations
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Managing inventory
* Collating engineering parts ready for assembly against schedules
* Receiving and booking in goods using Exchequer software
* Storing goods to allocated areas using the Kardex system
* Processing picking lists, collating, and packing goods ready for shipping to customers/suppliers
* Liaising with delivery drivers and suppliers
* Delivering received parts and post to internal departments
It would be ideal if you had a counterbalance FLT license but not essential
Our client based in Laindon have 76 current members of staff with serious growth plans including a minimum of 9 more staff across the board.
They design and assembly specialist equipment for used by pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries on a global level.
Due to their machines being sustainable and a massive global strive to be more efficient they have had a huge influx of orders requiring more staff to join the team.
You'll be working with one other permanent staff and one temporary staff and it's likely they will hire 2 stores person.
