Holt Engineering is currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator for our established Engineering company based in Blandford.
They have been developing award winning technologies for both the public and private sector including the National Government for over 70 years.
As a Transport Coordinator you will be responsible for all company vehicles being legal and compliant with current regulations.
As a Transport Coordinator, your responsibilities will include but not limited too:
To be responsible for all Company vehicle & licence checks and to administer and maintain all records accordingly.
Assist and report any Company Driver issues such as accidents, defects and safety concerns and ensure all relevant documents are completed and recorded to comply and maintain to road worthiness standards.
Liaising with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure products are delivered correctly, in accordance with schedules and booking in where necessary, also to coordinate the collections of purchased product.
Assist with drivers wherever possible such as breakdown recovery, confirming orders, road closures, identify potential problems and provide solutions to minimise delivery delays and improve efficiency at all times
Responsible for tracking all company vehicle movements, company pool cars and securing all vehicles keys when not in use
First point of call for all internal and external customers by phone and email relating to transport or delivery enquiries.
As a trasnport Coordinator you will have:

Excellent administrative skills
