We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer with extensive experience in creating robust, secure, and scalable e-commerce applications. The successful Senior JavaScript Developer will help us continue spreading the joy of gardening and making it accessible by playing a crucial role in developing innovative solutions that exceed the demands of modern online retail environments. If you are an experienced JavaScript Developer and you are passionate about sustainable living and making a difference, we would love to have you on our team! This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Tomball, TX.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design and develop secure, high-performance JavaScript applications that offer seamless, high-availability e-commerce experiences.
Architect scalable solutions to support growing user bases and data volumes without compromising performance.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver feature-rich e-commerce platforms.
Integrate and optimize ERP and WMS systems to enhance business operations and logistics.
Lead security initiatives, implement best practices for secure coding, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the development team.
Follow Company safety and quality procedures; and other policies and guidelines governing Company operations.
Perform other duties and related projects as assigned by direct supervisor or the Leadership Team.
Requirements
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in JavaScript development with a strong focus on frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Proven experience with Node.js and building RESTful APIs in a high-traffic environment.
In-depth knowledge of security practices, high availability strategies, and scalable architecture.
Familiarity with ERP and WMS systems is considered a significant advantage.
Proficient with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud technologies.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Job Location and Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch break 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 annually
