Job Description
The mission of the Associate Director of Qualitative Research is to be a leader within the Project Management group by directly coaching and mentoring the staff, building relationships with M3 clients, and working with the team on ensuring projects complete on time and within budget. The Associate Director of Qualitative Research will also assist with updating processes and internal systems to ensure the team is working as efficiently as possible. This is the ideal role for someone who has management experience in market research, specifically focused on qualitative healthcare research.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to the following:
Manage projects that are considered high priority by the organization. This may include (but not limited to) projects from strategic accounts, as well as new clients, as well as projects that call for a mixed methodology between qual and quant.
Responsible for providing guidance and mentoring members of the client service team.
Responsible for managing project escalations to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. This will require the candidate to partner with the sales team and operations staff to address issues and/or make recommendations to improve performance on projects.
Working closely with the Directors of both Qualitative and Quantitative to adapt, develop and initiate processes, procedures, and system enhancements.
Responsible for improving project level performance by working with our Custom Recruitment and Fieldwork teams to maximize internal recruitment and project level profit.
Overseeing the billing process for projects that the candidate is involved in, and ensuring projects end with expected profitability.
Responsible for documenting and updating internal process documentation.
Assist in creating best practice documents between M3 and M3’s key accounts.
Candidate will need to work closely with Sales and any other department’s lead on the account to ensure a smooth process for the client.
Candidates will be responsible for conducting regular check-ins with the key account teams on a monthly basis to review client feedback and  strategize on how to address unmet client needs.
Overseeing the training of any new team members, as well as the training needs of current employees.
