Join one of the biggest road projects in Norway's history!

The public-private contract (PPP) includes the financing, design, construction, operation and maintenance of a 9.4 kilometer four-lane highway, located in the Norwegian county of Vestland. The project aims to improve travel between Bergen and the island of Sotra on the west coast. The construction includes the construction of two twin tunnels of 4.6 kilometers in length and a four-lane bridge of about 900 meters. The new road system will have a space dedicated to public transportation, as well as access for pedestrians and bicycles. In addition, the project includes the construction of three smaller bridges.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist senior planners in developing project plans and schedules.
Coordinate with project teams to gather necessary information and data for planning purposes.
Monitor project progress and report any delays or issues to senior planners.
Analyze project data and recommend adjustments to project plans and schedules as needed.
Attend project meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling.
Maintain project documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
Assist with budgeting and resource allocation for projects.
Continuously improve planning and scheduling processes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Relevant candidates MUST have the following:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other planning software
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented and able to work independently
Knowledge of production planning and inventory control
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs
