GPS Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturer and have a great opportunity due to a huge upturn in production. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Operative to be based in Barnsley within the Quality department.
You need to be flexible with working hours and ideally hold a full UK driving licence.
Key responsibilities:
* Quality verification of manufactured product.
* Compiling daily reports.
* Inspecting products against purchase specifications / drawings / samples.
* Continuously maintaining company’s ISO9001 – 2015 Quality Management System.
* Driving improvement activities.
**Due to the varied work, you may be required to perform other duties from time to time, as described by your immediate line manager. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.
Key skills:
* Establish close working relationships with both internal and external departments.
* Working to own initiative and manage your own workload in order to ensure that all deadlines are achieved.
* Able to work under pressure.
* Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
* Computer literate.
Holding excellent interpersonal skills to communicate confidently with people at all levels will be key to success in the role. And previous experience with varied PC systems is also advantageous.
