We are looking for a Hygiene Manager!
Supporting our client who are situated in the heart of Carlisle, a well-established food manufacturer; now require an experienced individual to join their team with cleaning, facilities and hygiene experience. 
The successful candidate will will play a pivotal role in order to co-ordinate the plant, production, office and facilities cleaning requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious individual, possibly someone who is of supervisory level seeking their next challenge.
Ideally, you will have a clear understanding of the hygiene standards and cleaning requirements in a commercial environment / facilities management field.

You will be supported by an experienced team, however we will need you as the Hygiene Manager to oversee the operations, with key responsibilities to:

engage, motivate and develop the team to enable the achievement of KPIs and satisfactory completion and sign-off of all cleaning processes
ensure the cleaning teams are adequately resourced at all times, maintaining and developing the appropriate skill base
ensure best practice is adopted in all processes and activities, supporting and driving a culture of continuous improvement
prepare, review and update documentation including risk assessments, method statements and training evidence
monitor and review KPI data, reporting the results to the leadership team and addressing any shortfalls to ensure that satisfaction is achieved
take an active role in customer visits and audits including the presentation and explanation of necessary due diligence information
understand the budgetary requirements and factors that affect them and work within these parameters
monitor and challenge efficiency, service levels and labour utilisation in order to maximise operational effectiveness The right person: 

proven people management ability
strong communication skills
a flexible and adaptable approach to changing client requirements
a sound ability in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
excellent organisational skills and a calm, confident manner!
Plant experience would be idealHours, Salary & Benefits:
Friday – Monday (40hrs)
8am – 4pm (Weekdays)
6am – 6pm (Saturday & Sunday)
