Internal Sales / Trade Counter Person required by large independent timber and builders’ merchant based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience. Excellent career opportunity for the right candidate.
You will be responding to initial enquiries from both trade and retail customers via telephone and over the counter as well as providing quotes and taking orders.
The successful candidate will have previous sales experience in the merchant and Timber industry, demonstrating first-class knowledge of Landscaping and Building Materials as well as the ability to work well within a team environment.
Motivated and with an ambitious approach to your role, you will have the ability to balance the provision of excellent customer service with the need to generate sales for the company. Strong communication and people skills are essential.
Hours are 7.30am – 5.00pm with a 30 minute lunch break Monday - Friday
Alternative Saturdays: 8am - 12:00pm
