Our client is working to create a safe and secure world and, if you join them, you can play your part as a Senior Civil Structural and Architectural Engineer. You will be trusted to undertake projects through the entire project lifecycle, from initial scheme and concept design, right through to eventual decommissioning. This is particularly unique within a consultancy environment and what makes their projects and work so rewarding.
The role:
Leading role within a dynamic design team undertaking traditional, bespoke and innovative designs.
Design loading scenarios, including seismic design.
You will provide technical leadership and expertise, and you will take on the role of Technical Lead on specific projects when required.
Delivery Nuclear design work, inspections and construction site support on projects for a range of public and private sector clients within the UK and overseas.
Analysis and Design using engineering software such as Tekla and Robot as well as producing hand calculations.
Liaise with Technicians in the preparation of Revit models.
Work with integrated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high profile projects.
About you:
Degree Qualified (BEng or MEng), Civil / Structural Engineer
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with membership of ICE or ISTructE or working towards.
Highly experienced in the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
It would be advantageous but not necessary to have previous experience within the nuclear industry and design for seismic loading.
Awareness and experience of using the latest design codes and standards. Understanding of the relevant legal and regulatory standards.
This role is being offered as a hybrid arrangement, with two days in the office/onsite and three days working from home. Offer other great benefits such as generous holiday allowance and payment of professional fees.
