Page Personnel are currently partnering with a leading legal business, based in Birkenhead, who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for all areas of purchase ledger including processing invoices, reconciliations and preparing payment runs

Description

The Purchase Ledger Assistant will be responsible for:

Checking and processing invoices in an accurate and timely manner
Processing expenses
Reconciling supplier statements.
Preparing and performing payment
Statement reconciliations
Credit card reconciliations
Answering supplier and customer queries about finance.
Assisting with reporting and analysis
Helping the Accounting & Finance team with ad-hoc tasks.Profile

The successful Purchase Ledger Assistant should have:

A proven track record within a similar role
AAT L2 or above (desirable)
Proficiency in using accounting software.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and customers.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
A proactive and organised approach to work.Job Offer
