Pay: £85 - £95 (Per day) 

Hours: 8:30 - 15:30

Teaching Personnel are seeking two qualified Teaching Assistants to work in a Sunderland Primary School. The School is located near the town centre and is easily commutable by car, bus and metro. The roles will be to start after May half term and will run until Easter 2025. The Head Teacher is keen to shortlist, interview & appoint the teaching assistants through Teaching Personnel, to then conduct a handover period, if they a ‘the correct fit’ for school.

The Head teacher has implemented a strong and consistent behaviour policy which the children respond to really well. It is therefore important that if you are successful, that you are able to fit into the team and implement the policy effectively.

In the past, the school have used Teaching Personnel and taken staff on to permanent contracts. This could be an excellent opportunity which could lead to a full time contract. This won’t come without the right attitude in school though. You must be enthusiastic and passionate about raising standards in school and be able to build strong working relationships with children, staff and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
