Social Work Assistant
We are working in partnership with a Local Authority in Nottingham to appoint an experienced Social Work Assistant to join their Children's Services Team!
As a Children's Social Work Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising Family Time sessions, transporting children, supporting with practical tasks such as identifying and referring families for support services, budgeting, and providing parental support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to area teams in various aspects of child and family social work.
Supervise Family Time sessions and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
Transport children to and from appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Assist with practical tasks such as identifying and referring families for support services, budgeting, and providing parental support.
Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
