A new opportunity has arisen for an Assistant to Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join a progressive Interiors and Construction business, on the back of growth, newly awarded contracts and secured pipeline of work.
As a Quantity Surveyor working within the company’s highly successful and established fit out division, you will be based from their offices near York, with site and client visits as required overseeing a range of commercial and retail refurbishment and fit- out projects for one of the company’s leading framework clients, with schemes typically ranging in value from £100k - £500k.
Requirements:
* The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying duties within a Contracting environment.
* You will be qualified to at least HND level or equivalent.
* Experience of interiors / fit out projects would be beneficial but not essential.
* Experience of working with schedule of rates.
* Excellent communication skills and team working ability are a must.
