Multi Skilled Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of our Client, a UK-based Manufacturer of equipment in the textile industry for a Service Engineer.
The role is Mon-Fri Days Only
Hours Mon - Thurs 8 am-5.30 pm, Friday - 8 am-12 pm
Wage is Negotiable Dependent on Experience
The role is very diverse and involves a mix of site visits as well as working within the production facility based in Leeds.
Job Responsibilities
* Deliver Service activities (which include: installation commissioning, customer training, repairs, preventative maintenance services, calibration services, and remote technical support by phone and e-mail to achieve satisfied customers.)
* Installation and service of textile manufacturing equipment.
* Assist the design department in product development projects.
* Ensure the highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and ensure that issues are resolved in the fastest way possible.
* Be responsible for reporting accurately and promptly, all activities as required (e.g. Service Reports, Expense Reports, etc.)
Requirements
* A Valid Driving License is Essential for this role
* Mechanical and Electrically Qualified is Desirable but will consider Time Served/Experience in a similar role
* The ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving skills
* The ability to ensure that others follow instructions and directions through clear accurate communications
* Support other team members.
* The ability to organize tasks and meet targets.
* A commitment to Health & Safety and Quality standards and their implications in the workplace.

* Willingness to travel mainly within the UK, potential for overseas travel
