THE ROLE
We have a requirement for a hardworking and reliable Site Labourer to work in busy Scaffolding yard based in Scunthorpe. Start date Monday 10th June.
This is a temporary position required from Monday 10th June - 19th July - this may be extended and will be paid through our agency on a weekly basis.
MUST HAVE:
* UK Driving Licence
* CISRS COTS Card or CSCS Labourers Card
NICE TO HAVE:
* Vehicle/Plant Marshall (Banksman)
DETAILS
Site delivery team labourer, will be undertaking onsite works as part of overhead line (Transmission) refurbishment works on behalf of Tier 1 clients based out of Scunthorpe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assisting delivery driver (Telehandler) with loading & unloading vehicles.
* Providing vehicle marshal duties for Telehandler and/or HGV whilst on site.
* Setting up site compound with delivery team.
* Drive drop side transit to and from sites, include equipment movements if required.
* Assist yard team if and when required.
* Assist site team/management if and when required.
* Ability to work safely and follow required methodology whilst working within (not directly on) Transmission environment.
* Work as part of a team in a fast paced environment whilst completing tasks to the highest standards.
DAYS & WORKING HOURS
* 8 hour days
* 07:30 – 16:00 standard hours however, there will be requirements to be flexible and work overtime if/when required (the team commonly end up doing 10 hour days)
PAY GRADES
* Highly competetive hourly rate.
* Overtime will be available at 1.5x
* Double time on a Sunday
