AV Installation Engineer

AV Installation Engineer – Reading – Full Time - Up To £40,000 + Overtime Offered
About the Client: Our client offers a specialist service in creating impactful digital signage in retail, hospitality, and corporate environments, including Stadium LED displays, digital menu boards, bespoke retail displays, EOPS, and touch-point ordering. Due to recent expansion, our client is currently seeking a Senior AV Engineer to join their team based in Reading.
Position Overview:
* Location: Reading, with travel around the South of the UK.
* Overtime: Overtime rate at time and a third; weekend cover rate at time and a half.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Requirements:
* Experience within a similar role working to strict SLA’s.
* Experience installing AV Solutions such as screens and projectors in meeting rooms and classrooms.
* Knowledge of basic audio and signal transmission such as HDBaseT.
* Excellent communication skills, able to use initiative and professionalism.
* Have a working knowledge of digital signage and an understanding of networking and IP technology as well as other AV technologies.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Ability to commute to Reading daily.
Desirable Requirements:
* Control equipment installation (AMX/Crestron/SY/Extron/Kramer etc.)
* Rack building.
* Basic programming
* Survey & Specification
* SC Clearance highly desirable
Required Skills:
* Good PC knowledge
* Excellent IT skills and knowledge of networks.
