PLC Programmer

We’re hiring for a PLC Programmer to join a close-knit team as part of a specialist UK equipment manufacturer based in Middlewich, Cheshire. Working with a small supportive team, your role will involve designing, programming, and installing control panels around the UK.

What’s on offer?

* £40,000 - £70,000 per annum

What will you be doing as a PLC Programmer?

* Commission and test control programs for the conveyor machines

* Implementation and documentation of software tests for programs

* Analysing problems and troubleshooting issues remotely or at customer’s sites

* Carrying out installation, maintenance, and modifications at customer sites across the UK

What do you need?

* Degree in Electronic Engineering

* Proficient in AutaCAD

* Relevant industrial experience in an automation role

* Good working knowledge of PLC programming, especially Siemens

* Creativity and inventiveness in the solution of complex requirements

* Personal initiative and independent work

* Flexibility to work away from home
