An exciting opportunity for a lead site manager to join an award winning house builder, who specialise in high end traditional residential developments has arisen.
The company have solid expansion plans to grow the business and aim to have doubled their turnover by 2025. They have seen Brexit in the market as an opportunity to buy land cheaper and have a solid bank of land, and a secured pipeline of new sites for a few years to come.
This project will run for 18 months, starting in June and will consist of 20 units. Most of their work is within Surrey and Sussex and they have a requirement for someone in the Bexhill/ Hastings area.
They are seeking a strong Site Manager who likely has some volume experience but are looking to step away from the PLC environment and work for a higher end developer who can offer progression opportunities as they expand if so desired.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running focused on providing a good quality product within agreed timescales.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Day to day supervision and co-ordination of on-site staff, subcontractors, plant and materials.
* Build and maintain good relations with staff, clients and subcontractors.
* Work to construction programmes ensuring production targets are achieved, whilst maintaining safety and quality whilst effectively finding solutions to any issues that may cause delays.
* Coordinate and lead site meetings.
* Maintain strict quality control procedures and conduct regular site safety checks.
