Our client is a reputable plumbing company dedicated to providing top-notch plumbing services to residential and commercial clients. They pride themselves on their commitment to excellence, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team and support their daily administrative tasks.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting the administrative needs of the team. You will be responsible for managing all bookings, answering phones, and organising small business events. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Booking Management

* Handle all incoming booking requests from clients via phone, email, or in-person.

* Schedule appointments for plumbing services, ensuring optimal utilisation of technicians' time.

* Coordinate with the dispatch team to assign appropriate technicians to scheduled appointments.

Phone Management

* Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming calls to the office.

* Provide prompt and courteous assistance to clients, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and resolving issues effectively.

* Direct calls to the appropriate staff members as needed.

Event Organisation

* Plan and coordinate small business events such as seminars, workshops, and networking events.

* Arrange venue bookings, catering, and logistical arrangements for events.

* Assist in the creation of promotional materials and invitations for events.

Administrative Support

* Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.

* Maintain accurate records of client information, appointments, and service requests.

* Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow within the office.

Experience required:

* Driver/Car Owner

* Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry.

* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer service-oriented approach.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning well within a team.

* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12,500.00-£13,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
