Hays are looking to recruit an passionate EYFS teacher to join the dedicated team at a local central-based St Helens Primary School. You will have full teaching roles and responsibilities and have strong working relationships with both staff and children. This role is paid to scale and ECT mentorship can be accomodated to develop professional skills and standards.
This role will see you teaching in a reception class with a high number of pupil premium students. The Early Years provision is a supportive and friendly network of teaching and leadership staff who aim to fulfil the needs and curiosity of all students. The school ethos has a culture of supporting the community and are innovators in Art therapy and play for pupils. They have wonderful outdoor areas where children can burn energy and explore to develop vital skills and maintain a curious nature. You will be working for a community-based primary school who pride themselves on inclusion and supporting children in all aspects of development in EYFS.
They are looking for an experienced and passionate person to join their team. The school is near the centre of town and has a wonderful and supportive SLT department. The schools had excellent behaviour management policies and practices. They pride themselves on providing exploration and giving enrichment opportunities to pupils. The Head teacher welcomes ECT'S and experienced teachers to apply, and they have a part-time and a full-time role available.
Your new role.
You will be expected to undertake and fully immerse yourself in the day-to-day aspects of a supportive role within the classroom. You will be required to effectively communicate with the teaching staff and lead by example and set high expectations for students. You will be expected to formulate a good understanding of the requirements of your class from an early stage and use Quality First Teaching Methods to engage and support pupils. You will also be expected to utilise available resources to provide maximum impact on pupil learning. You may also be expected to help and guide pupils in their transition from reception to KS1. The EYFS provision is resourceful and has a dedicated team who help children prosper in EYFS and build a framework for life-long learning. The school is a 3-form entry school, and you will be working in a reception with other members of the EYFS team.
What you will need to succeed.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you:

Be a dynamic team player.
Committed to working as part of a close-knit teaching and support team.
Be fun, enthusiastic, and proactive.
The ability to provide high quality teaching and learning in a nurturing setting.
DBS on update service is preferred but not essential.
QTS or ECT Status.
