My client a well established engineering company based in Blackburn is seeking a skilled Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products using hand and power tools. This is a warehouse-based position that requires mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting on assembly of mechanical parts using hand tools and nut and bolt fixings.
* Sorting of small deliveries into stock
* Assisting with large deliveries
* Arranging of stock area
* Organizing parts for assembly procedure
* General housekeeping
Experience:
* Previous experience in assembly or a related field preferred
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
* Mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
