Machine Operator

We are currently recruiting a number of Machine operators for one of our prestigious client based in Huthwaite NG17!

Shift pattern:

- Monday to Thursday 6am-6pm

Pay rates £13.01/h - Overtime paid £19.52/h and £26.02/h

Duties:
- Operate and monitor machines to ensure proper functioning
- Set up machines according to specifications
- Fabricate and assemble components using hand tools and power tools
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on machinery
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or similar role within wood manufacturing
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar software for machine operation
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
