A leading professional services business are seeking a Payroll professional for a key job that is based in their Nottingham office. This role will be hired at a Payroll Administrator OR Senior level. 

The firm have management in the payroll team, but are looking for someone with proven experience to support the manager and potentially have some supervisory responsibility for a small number of staff, working in payroll administrator positions. The firm can hire anyone between a Payroll Administrator up to Senior grade.

This type of role would usually dictate a salary from late £20’s up to early to mid £30’s, but the firm may have some flexibility on the salary they can pay to secure the right person.

This team are mainly office based, so they do want this role to be predominantly based in the office, but there is potential to work from home 1 day per week, in future.

Job Description:

Payroll

Preparation of client payrolls using various software, such as IRIS, Sage, Earnie & IPP

Administration of payrolls ensuring employee records are up to date

Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs to resolve any client issues

Preparing year end returns 

Assisting Payroll Manager as necessary and acting as cover for other Payroll Technicians

Providing excellent client service

Attending training sessions 

Deal with Auto Enrolment queries and administrate pension scheme for clients using NEST, NOW and The Peoples Pension and other Pension provider platforms
