Cyber Security Consultant

Job title: Cyber Security Consultant- OT (Operational Technology)

Location/remote: Warwick/Hybrid (2 days a week in the office, 3 days remote)

Contract length: 6 months, likely to extend

Pay rate: £500-£600 per day PAYE

Randstad Enterprise, a international RPO & MSP Recruitment Services has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Cyber Security Consultant to join a one of clients based in Warwick who are a global leader in energy technology

Our client operates in over 90 countries and has a clear mission to reduce emissions whilst increasing energy supplies, supporting companies and clients to do this on a worldwide scale

Overview

You will report to the Lead Execution Manager for Industrial Cyber Security with a focus on Supporting Digital Products and Solutions team in achieving goals and setting cyber security strategy.

The main tasks will be, but not limited to:

Assist the delivery of cybersecurity projects by validating existing technical documentation

*

Support key business stakeholders as they look to adopt new technologies.

*

Develop and build-on technical partnerships with internal and external suppliers.

*

Work with the Lead Execution Manager/Technical Lead to support large cyber projects

*

Customer cyber support – act as a point of contact for some customers operational cyber issues

*

Provide general OT security advice and consult customers on OT security issues and ensure safe, continuous production operations

*

Liaise with internal ICS (Industrial Cyber Security) group on compliance and best practice

*

Support Cyber execution training and troubleshooting support for product competence centres (Product Lines)

*

Availability to travel to customer sites globally for 10% of the time

Key skills and experience:

*

Previous experience as a control systems engineer or similar role with specific knowledge of industrial applications in the energy or oil & gas sector.

*

Hands-on Experience with Cyber security implementation in OT (operational technology) environments

*

Knowledge of industrial cyber regulation and standards.

*

Demonstrates attention to detail and consistently produces high-quality deliverables.

*

Good knowledge of remote connections solutions used in industry.

*

Proven ability to write and manage technical documents

*

GICSP or other certifications are preferred.

*

Knowledge on virtualization processes and configuration of the major providers (VMWare, others)

*

Previous experience working with SCADA, Honeywell or Allen Bradley would be highly beneficial

*

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to successfully accomplish client facing interactions
