We are currently seeking a meticulous and relationship-focused Credit Controller to join the finance team in Redditch. This role is integral to managing the company's financial assets, requiring a proactive approach to maintaining robust customer accounts and ensuring seamless financial operations. As a Credit Controller you will report directly to the Credit Control Manager, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and documentation. A comprehensive induction and ongoing training will support the successful candidate in achieving excellence within a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities will include
- Proactive engagement with credit customers and finance companies to secure timely payments.
- Daily management of the receipt forecast file, incorporating new invoices and banked receipts.
- A meticulous assessment of customer credit applications.
- Maintenance of accurate daily banking records and diligent pursuit of outstanding payments.
- Efficient allocation of payments to the sales ledger.
As a candidate you should posses
- Proficient IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
- A talent for nurturing relationships and strong communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
- Capacity to thrive under pressure and a collaborative spirit.
- Knowledge of an ERP system is advantageous.
