A client of ours are looking for an individual who can Manage and oversee delivery of contract(s) you will report directly to the Managing Director.

The ideal candidate will be required to have a sound knowledge and experience of working in the Electrical Sector with previous management experience. Preferably from either a DNO, Electrical or Street Lighting background.

Duties

The role is predominantly focused around the delivery of street lighting projects and other electrical work types such as Building projects, DNO / ICP.

Ensuring commercial processes are in place.
Ensuring H&S processes are being met.
Site Audits for safety and quality.
Commercial management of projects including implementation phase.
To measure all works accurately including capturing of changes and variations.
Management and control of sub-contractors
Assisting and liaising with the buyers on materials procurement.
To support other members of the team.
Measure, progress, assist in submitting valuations
Attend project and company related meetings.
To undertake any other reasonable duties.Key requirements

Being capable of self-time management.
An understanding of either ICP Engineering, Highways measurement principles or Electrical principles.
A basic understanding of all main forms of NEC, ICE and JCT contracts.
An understanding of general IT systems (Microsoft).
An understanding of cost/contract management systems.
Knowledge and / or experience of working within the construction industry.
A good understanding of Electrical works and the IET wiring regulations.In return our client will offer
