Software Developer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a software developer to join an established, dynamic and exciting team of development Engineers working on bespoke manufacturing equipment from new state of the art premises just off M1 Junction 36.
The role will be focussed on the design and implementation of new and ongoing development software projects.
Any applicant should be excited by the opportunity to complete a full range of developments;
* Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programmes from initial concept to post installation customer support
* Testing and evaluating new and existing programmes
* Ensuring the usability and practicality of applications
* Maintaining and upgrading existing software systems
* Completing feasibility assessments to enhance system functionality or performance including reviews of cross platform migrations
* Working in a small team following agile practises to allow rapid development and customer satisfaction
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years full time experience, writing code in a commercial environment
A proven ability to programme in the following languages would be required;
* C#
* vb.NET
* SQL Server/ MySql
Additional skills / experience that would be beneficial, but not essential include:
* .NET Maui Blazor
* Asp.NET
* OpenCV/ Emgu CV
* Software unit testing
Bootstrap framework experience
* Jira work management
* Git
* Performing remote and on-site testing and customer training
* Familiarity with Visual Studios
Applicants will work closely with the Software Engineering Manager, working in conjunction with them and the development team on a wide range of projects, developing new products and enhancing existing ones.
A passion for software, developing new skills and working on actual innovative products will be essential.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and a good attention for detail.
