Murray Recruitment have a permanent opportunity for a Business Systems Manager based in Lanarkshire.

As Business Systems Manager, you will oversee the management of the document control and support function administration workforce.

Responsibilities

* Partner senior operational leads & functional heads in the provision of a lean, efficient and effective delivery and implementation of the business systems, including document control and administrative support to ensure delivery against business objectives.

* Lead, coordinate and manage performance of a team of business system controllers within a matrix management structure including managing resource levels and training.

* Work with operational and functional leadership to continually review business systems and administrative processes to ensure they are properly implemented and remain efficient and aligned to values and specific objectives.

* Conduct research, compile data and prepare papers for consideration and presentation business leadership.

* Ensure that internal company relationships with other departments, offices and business units/regions are positive and supportive.

* Keep up to date with developments in the Integrated Management systems within the business and ensure that suitable arrangements are implemented in the regional business unit.

* Organise audits of the Business Management systems in line with agreed audit programme for the business unit.

* Ensure support is provided to the projects and business functions in establishing suitable arrangements that support the business plan.

* Review resource levels to ensure that the business planning and the effective operation of the business management systems is achieved.

* Provide internal and external training and support in the implementation of the business management systems. Ensure that the development needs of direct reports are suitably evaluated and implemented.

* Mobiles / iPads Manage Mobile refresh & equipment updates (e.g. Remote management) Develop and manage Information systems and provide technical input to internal and external customers.

* Provide training, guidance and support to business system controllers and users, and provide assistance, guidance and 1st line technical support and training EOMS project set up as per contract requirements.Generate and manage quality control, management, status and system assessment reports.

* Collaborate with technical teams and business users to manage implementation, training options and support requirements.

* Review efficiencies and perform timely audits and gap analysis and define requirements to address saps

* Regular interface with SMT / contract managers/ PM's/ OM/ Clients and end users. Co-ordinate with these parteners to defince scope and act as a point of contact.

* Timely system audits to ensure systems are functioning according to the business requirements, troubleshooting when required.

* Plan and implement effective testing processes to ensure that deliverables adhere to standards.

Experience / Qualifications

* Experienced Document Control Manager or can demonstrate significant experience with bespoke business systems.

* Internal audit training & Level 3 EAT certification(preferred)

* Ability to work in a team environment contributing, at a leadership level.

* Effective people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others to perform to a high standard.

* Good planning and time management skills; able to manage activities and stakeholders simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality.
