Senior Staff Software Engineer, SAP (ABAP)

Job Description
The Engineering team at NBCUniversal is seeking a talented & passionate Senior Staff Software Engineer, SAP (ABAP). This engineer will provide state-of-art engineering and architectural support for the SAP Financial, Procurement and Subledger systems maintenance and enhancements, including integration to other systems. You will also be able to lead and mentor other engineering teams while simultaneously delivering high-quality S/4 HANA clean core solutions through technical development that meets overall business requirements. 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
Act as a primary point of contact for SAP development strategy, architecture, and governance of application development and engineering related activities 
Work with product and other engineering teams to architect, design and evaluate different technical design options for custom development options within SAP keeping in mind SAP's clean core framework and NBCU best practices 
Provide estimation for technical work effort when required 
Design, develop, and manage complex technical project plans for project and support operations 
Take a lead role in maintaining and enforcing ABAP naming, coding and development standards, and providing architecture and design guidance to the functional teams keeping in mind SAP's Clean Core Framework utilizing tools like ATC, CCM and others 
Lead and manage SAP SOH to S/4 HANA migration of NBCU's custom codebase 
Work closely with Product Teams, Change Management, Testing and other Engineering teams like BASIS and BTP Integration to identify opportunities for improvements or cost savings 
Mentor and train Application development and other engineering team members to perform daily duties
