Reed Engineering are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to join a company who are looking to expand their workforce. This role is crucial for maintaining and repairing electronic systems and equipment used, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in soldering and the ability to assemble and test electronic products.
Day to day roles include:
Assemble, maintain and repair electronic systems
Design and make system components
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment
Read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams
Implement and follow assembly processes in a safe way
Work closely with other technical teams to ensure the reliability and performance of electronic systems
Required:
Proven experience as an Electronic Technician, preferably in the oil and gas industry
Relevant certification or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Understanding of electronic systems and components used in the oil and gas sector
Strong soldering skills
Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
