·        Building design and evaluation based on standards, practices, and applicable codes
·        Observation of ongoing construction completion activity, and recognition of both contract and code concerns
·        Construction administration inclusive of generation and/or review of: submittals, rfi’s, change orders, payment requisitions, field reports, etc.
·        Preparation of technical reports and record of submittals and dates of each transaction
·        Involvement in the operations & analysis of construction costs
·        Must be able to process and estimate change orders and requests for information as directed by the project manager
·        Proficiency in basic engineering computations and analysis
·        Must be able to maintain and update the project/construction scheduling
·        Possessing estimating and/or scheduling skills is a plus
Requirements
·        Licensed Civil Engineer experience: 5-7 years
·        Understanding of civil design practices including stress, strain, and deflection
·        In-Depth understanding of building and soil materials
·        Experience with storm/waste water systems design
·        Excellent interpersonal, writing, and computer skills
·        Working knowledge of Cost Estimating & Documentation Tools: R.S. Means, Planswift, MS Excel, The Blue Book
·        A thorough understanding and knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry, including the Federal, State, and local laws and regulations that pertain to the industry
·        Working knowledge of Construction Scheduling & Management Tools: MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Procore, Plangrid, Bluebeam
·        Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Adobe
·        Background in building codes/code enforcement
·        PE License is preferred
