Tax Staff Accountant - CPA Candidate

Hire Resolve is a trusted recruitment agency specializing in finance and accounting positions. Our client, a reputable CPA firm, is seeking a dedicated Tax Staff Accountant who is a CPA candidate. As a Tax Staff Accountant, you will work closely with clients to provide tax planning, preparation, and compliance services while gaining valuable experience towards becoming a Certified Public Accountant.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
Assist in tax planning and strategies for clients
Respond to tax notices and assist in resolving tax-related issues
Prepare financial statements and reports for tax clients
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Currently pursuing CPA certification or already a CPA candidate
1-3 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $75,000 - $90,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
