JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Manager, Contract Administration plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of Seqirus US Commercial contracts to meet sales goals for US Seqirus vaccines. Reporting to the Director of Contract Development and Administration within the Americas Commercial Operations Team, this position oversees the contracting process from inception to execution. Responsibilities include bid response, drafting, negotiation, internal approvals, execution, amendments, and contract retirement. Additionally, the Manager ensures proper adjudication and disposition of all commercial contracts, collaborating closely with cross-functional colleagues and leading the drafting and approval of new contract language as needed.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Develops and executes an overarching Contract administration process for Seqirus US Commercial Ops.
* Maintains a repository of contracts with key information for performance analysis and understanding of contract levers and tool sets.
* Interfaces with Legal and customer-facing teams, serving as a content expert on Seqirus partner/customer commercial contracts.
* Coordinates contract negotiations to mitigate risks, prefer provisions, and ensure bid submissions meet quality standards.
* Conducts analysis for sales teams and ensures on-time reporting and payment of all fees and rebates.
* Develops SOPs and documented methodology for reporting, serving as a commercial contract SME to other departments.
* Supports bid and RFP submissions for Americas commercial business, acting as a point person for sales teams and conducting quality checks on drafts before final submission.
* Coordinates with other functions to collect required information for bid submissions.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree required.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare environment, with roles involving proposal development, bid response, and contracting administration, including writing contract terms and conditions, and contract adjudication.
