Mold Maintenance Technician

Job Description
Mold Maintenance and Tooling- Waxes, cleans, inspects, and maintains molds.  Sand molds, apply Gelcoat in between pulls, and does any patching and repair work.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving and prepping the molds for gelcoat. Requires buffing and waxing.
Responsible for making sure a mold is ready to move on to production.
Follow instructions of the Manager/Supervisor/lead
Be able to use small hand tools, including grinders, sanders, screwdrivers, drills, scissors, razor knife, etc.
Will help in the construction of new molds for the production line.
Keep the work area clean and orderly.
Inspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards.
Any other duties as assigned by management.
