Seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs, emphasizing patient safety and collaboration with a healthcare team.
Essential Functions:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
Direct and delegate care to other team members based on education, credentials, and competence.
Pursue professional development and education to maintain effectiveness.
Participate in hospital policy, procedure, quality improvement, and safety programs.
Requirements
Requirements:
Education:
Degree from an accredited School of Nursing (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum one year of RN experience in an acute care facility (required)
Experience in post-ICU, trauma, urology, and gynecology care (preferred)
Credentials:
Valid State of Oregon Nursing License (required)
Basic Life Support Certification (required upon hire)
Skills:
Ability to apply age-specific care principles.
Foster positive interpersonal relationships and a patient-centered environment.
Support and interpret hospital policies and procedures.
Basic computer proficiency.
Working Conditions:
Physical:
Patient handling is limited to 35 lbs. without assistance.
Fine motor skills for medical equipment operation and precise procedures.
Push/Pull frequently up to 45 lbs.
Ability to perform CPR with significant force.
Mobility around the area with frequent sitting.
Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, and kneeling.
Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs., frequent lifting up to 5 lbs.
Environmental:
Exposure to biohazards and airborne particles.
Ability to work in a noisy environment.
Mental/Visual:
Normal vision and hearing (corrections permitted).
Effective communication skills.
