Information Officer Team Leader required for a well-established organisation headquartered in Central Birmingham. This role offers hybrid working.

Job Title: Team Leader

Location: Hybrid working with main emphasis on remote working

Salary: £33,000p/a plus excellent benefits

Hours of Work: Full time (Monday – Friday)

An exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent writing and research skills to develop their career further in a Team Leader role. You’ll be responsible for heading up a busy team of Information Officers who are required to write summaries of a variety of large documents. This role will require you to carry out research and writing tasks and so demonstrable experience in this area is key.

You’ll head up a busy team and will be responsible for organising their workload and allocating tasks, as well as monitoring the quality of content. You’ll also deal with any team issues or queries and provide general line management support. Other responsibilities will include supporting marketing including helping to create blog posts, market summaries and other content on a variety of topics, as well as working on individual projects as needed.

Skills and Experience required:

* Excellent written and research skills

* Extensive experience of writing with an ability to adapt your style to suit varying mediums

* Extensive proof-reading experience

* Extensive ICT skills

* Strong communication skills

* Previous experience of team leadership desirable but not essential

* A good understanding of the public sector is helpful but not essential

* Able to work either from home or at the office in Birmingham as necessary
