Accounts assistant

We are seeking an experienced individual to provide temporary support to our clients team during a planned absence. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining day to day operations while shadowing a team member and gradually assuming their reponsibilitues

Responsibilites

Shadow a team member for approximately 4 weeks to learn the role and understand key responsibilities.
Provide cover for the team member's absence.
Ensure continuity of workflow and support for team members during the absence period.
Collaborate with team members to address any urgent tasks or issues that arise.
Assist in the handover process during the final 2 weeks to ensure a smooth transition back to the team member upon their return.Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role. (purchase ledger, sales ledger, and nominal ledger. Preparation of monthly accounts)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
