This role provides a platform to showcase your technical and hands-on expertise whilst overseeing a small team of Mechanical Design Engineers. You will oversee projects from concept to manufacturing and play an important role in the department's overall success.

Responsibilities:

Lead the team in providing technically sound engineering solutions, supported by design analysis
Drive innovation by implementing advanced solutions with the latest materials and technology
Manage product developments to maintain standard equipment offerings across the range
Take full design responsibility for projects, ensuring all deliverables are met from start to finish
Direct team management, including recruitment, training, and overseeing project quality and schedule
Key Requirements:

Extensive Mechanical Design Engineer background
Strong hands-on experience in design, analysis and testing of mechanical systems
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise accordingly
Experience managing, leading and developing other engineers
