Mastercard Operations Analyst

We're seeking a talented Mastercard Operations Analyst to join a dedicated Financial Intelligence Team and help to continue protecting our bank and its customers from fraud.

This role is ideal for you if you have experience in Cards Management and Fraud Investigations, or possess relevant transferable skills and a passion for making a societal impact.

As our Mastercard Operations Analyst, you will:

Collaborate with the Card and Fraud Subject Matter Expert and Financial Intelligence Team to enhance their Business Card offerings and safeguard against fraud.
Support the development and compliance of their operational systems, ensuring they meet regulatory, industry, and service standards.
Monitor fraud case outcomes, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend actions to address gaps and evolving fraud trends.
Work with colleagues to identify and implement improvements in systems, processes, and workflows to enhance fraud mitigation.
Generate accurate and timely internal Management Information and regulatory returns, and help monitor rule performance.Key skills for the Mastercard Operations Analyst:

Extensive knowledge of Mastercard card issuing and UK card operations.
An understanding of regulatory requirements, including PSD2, GDPR, PCI DSS, and Mastercard Scheme Rules.
Awareness of current fraud threats facing banks and their customers.
A willingness to provide constructive challenges and contribute to the bank's business and operating plans.
