Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) is building a new state-of-the-art Mental Health Inpatient Service in Chertsey, Surrey; Silverwood will contain four adult inpatient wards and is due to open in Autumn 2024. The new unit will help achieve our ambition to transform inpatient mental health care for our local population.

The unit will provide 64 beds all with single ensuite rooms, two lounges and a dedicated garden for each ward, as well as a woodland area for supervised walks. For our colleagues working here, there will be access to kitchenettes, a lounge, and a dedicated garden. There will also be an education suite with state-of-the-art digital equipment.

This role is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to be part of a new service providing excellent care to our patients. You’ll work with experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We are developing new ways of working and want you to be part of the team who will provide effective assessment, treatment, and high-quality care.

You’ll be a core member of the multi-disciplinary team, participating in the provision of on-going assessments, care planning, treatment and support of people with serious and enduring mental health problems and people in crisis.

You must have Nurse Associate Degree and Nurse Associate NMC. We will consider those who are currently Trainee Nurse Associates but you must have either completed or are due to complete your Nursing Associate Degree. Paid sponsorship is available for those who reside within the UK.
