As part of our "Verification and Validation" department, you will be responsible for the further development, maintenance and support of our analog and mixed-signal design flow. This position is part of our Technical Ladder. In your new role you will:
  • Support, maintain and further improve Infineon's IC design methodology with focus on analog defect simulation and analog verification methodology
  • Responsible for enabling Infineon Business Lines to perform Analog Defect Simulations in compliance with the IEEE P2427 standard
  • Proactively consult chip design projects to ensure proper and efficient usage of working environment, software tools and related methodology
  • Collect application specific requirements to the design environment and provide fast solutions (e.g. hot fixes)
  • Work closely with internal and external software tools and methodology providers on improving existing and developing new solutions
  • Create and maintain the necessary specification and documentation
  • Carry out trainings for the design flow and tool users
Your ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A PhD or Master of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the area of Analog/Mixed-Signal design and verification
  • Knowledge in Design for Test, Layout, pre-silicon verification and testibility and insights in semiconductor product manufacturing would be a plus
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Editor and circuit simulators such as XA, Spectre, HSpice, Eldo
  • Good software development skills (C, Python, tcl, etc.) in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Leadership and good communication skills, team player
  • Fluent English skills; German is a plus
