Hourly rate plus overtime opportunity
We have an amazing opportunity for a Transport Planner within a small but busy and expanding company in the Kingswinford area. A manufacturing company company that prides itself on efficiency and service - in this role you will be the person that arranges deliveries, update and liaise with customers on delivery of goods.
Purpose of the role:
Objectives of the position in the workforce (what must be achieved, result of the work):
Ensure customer satisfaction in planning production and deliveries.
Guarantee the correctness of warehouse stocks.
Guarantee the availability of supplied materials based on production needs.
Ensure the optimization of transport of incoming materials and shipments to customers.
Main duties of the position - achieving results
Responsibilities:
Organize the movement of materials both between the warehouse and suppliers
Organize the transport of incoming materials and shipments to customers
Maintain delivery dates of sales orders and schedules of various customers
Maintain and control delivery dates of purchase orders
Maintain dates in production orders with any rescheduling
Monitor compliance with delivery dates by suppliers and request if necessary
Create the necessary documentation for the preparation of shipments
Instruct customs clearance practices Logistics Manager
Monitor the correct management of warehouse records and fiscal documents for the entry and exit of materials Logistics Manager
Check and carry out maintenance of the stocks of the various warehouses, both internal and third-party. Check the causes of the deviations and propose improvements
Hourly rate £14.00 an hour
Overtime available
Plus discretionary production bonus weekly
Early finish on a Friday!!!!
