LIFT REPAIR AND SERVICE MANAGER

Salary of the Lift Repair & Service Manager / Lift Service Manager / Lift Industry Service Manager / Mechanical Electrical Service Manager / Lift Repair Manager: £35,000 - £45,000 pa depending on your experience

My client, and established Lift Repair and Service Company, are looking for an experienced Lift Repair & Service Manager / Lift Service Manager / Lift Industry Service Manager / Mechanical Electrical Service Manager / Lift Repair Manager to join their team at one of their sites based in Stockport.

Purpose of the Lift Repair & Service Manager / Lift Service Manager / Lift Industry Service Manager / Mechanical Electrical Service Manager / Lift Repair Manager:

To manage Service & Repairs in the Lift business, implementing quality processes, procedures and bring Health and Safety to the forefront of the business. To ensure customer expectations are exceeded across the service business, while maintaining acceptable profitability.

Main Duties for the Lift Repair & Service Manager / Lift Service Manager / Lift Industry Service Manager / Mechanical Electrical Service Manager / Lift Repair Manager:

·Execute the Operations Plan
·Accountable for achieving the planned financial result
·Accountable for accurate monthly forecasting for the repairs and service business
·Managing a team of Lift Service and Repairs engineers on a day-to-day basis
·Ensuring all service and repairs KPI’s are achieved
·Accountable for the implementation of good H&S and Quality practices across the operations business
·Support in setting up Near Miss Reporting and corrective actions process
·Implementation of full auditing process including quality and H&S
·Engineer Training Matrix management
·Manage Lift engineers on a daily basis.
·Drive operations efficiencies across the business (Service & Repairs)
·Enforcing company policies and performance standards
·Support in implementing a customer complaints procedure
·Presenting Toolbox Talks meetings for engineers.
·Communicates proactively the resource needs to his/her Line Manager
·Responsible for efficiency measurement and reporting
·Gross margin improvement from sold
·Attending customer visits/meetings.
·Responsible for auditing mobile van fleet across the operations business
·Communicates the capacity constraints to his/her Line Manager including sales
·To inspire, energize and coach the team and individuals and celebrates success
·Conducting Engineer site audits
·Turns strategy into objectives and actions. Accepts and provides demanding goals
·Communicates clear expectations and takes action when individuals fail to meet them
·On request, this position can be assigned with other duties and responsibilities

Education and Experience of the Lift Repair & Service Manager / Lift Service Manager / Lift Industry Service Manager / Mechanical Electrical Service Manager / Lift Repair Manager:

a. Experience in Management or allied trade
b. Lift Industry knowledge or Mechanical or Electrical background
c. Knowledge of “Health and Safety at Work” codes and regulations
d. Knowledge of RAMS including reporting
e. IOSH qualified or willing to work towards
f. Competent in common IT applications including use of MS Excel and Word
g. Driving Licence required
