The Opportunity
Due to site investment, an exciting opportunity has come available to join a team of successful Mechanical and Process Engineers, supporting the implementation of onsite projects. The client is a global leading speciality chemicals company working within a batch / semi continuous process environment.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Provide mechanical engineering support or project manage other projects.  Contribute to all stages of projects through to commissioning and ongoing support.
Develop engineering solutions to resolve issues to improve plant safety, operability, and efficiency.
Participate in QA activities such as management of change, validation and updating operating instructions. Contribute to risk assessment of proposed plant modifications.
Assist in the development of mechanical engineering and integrity standards, procedures, and work instructions.
Carry out or participate in root cause analysis on plant failures for the purposes of improving reliability.
Work collaboratively with the engineering and whole site team.You will have the following qualifications &experience  
MEng or BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
Demonstrable commitment to maintaining high safety, health & environmental standards.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable discipline
Good problem solving and project management skills.
Strong knowledge of design standards including pressure systems, piping
Be an effective communicator, capable of influencing and building effective working relationships internally and externally to the business.It’s great if you also have the following
Experience installing equipment in a comparable process industry.
Experience working in a GMP environment.
AutoCAD user to edit models and create piping schedules.
Knowledge of DSEAR, ATEX, Pressure systems, PUWER or other regulation.
Root Cause Analysis or other problem-solving methodologies.
NEBOSH National General Certificate.What you’ll get in return
